Porcelain Fused to Metal: Nine Unit Mandibular Bridge Seven Year Post Restoration of six Bicon implants with a nine unit telescopic porcelain fused to metal bridge with a seven year follow-up evaluation. This case demonstrates the ease of clinical use and the long-term reliability of the Bicon implant.

	1.	Pre-operative radiograph of the ameloblastoma lesion.
	2.	CAT scan of ameloblastoma lesion.
	3.	Post-operative radiograph of mandibular resection with extra-oral fixation.
	4.	Post-operative radiograph of titanium crib and iliac crest bone graft.
	5.	Post-operative radiograph of six Bicon implants - note level of bone and the fact that the implants are entirely apical to the adjacent teeth.
	6.	Black healing plugs at implant uncovering surgery.
	7.	Six permanent non-shouldered abutments in place. Note the coronal aspect of the 10.0mm abutment is apical to the crown of the adjacent tooth.
	8.	Excessive soft tissue healing around six Bicon non-shouldered abutments. Soft tissue will be excised to the level of the periosteum.
	9.	Wafer of acrylic being formed which will act as a post-operative splint dressing for the 14 days of soft tissue healing.
	10.	Trimming of acrylic wafer.
	11.	Trying the polished acrylic wafer intra-orally.
	12.	After the surgical removal of the excessive soft tissue to the periosteum, a periodontal dressing is placed.
	13.	The periodontal dressing is sandwiched in place with the acrylic wafer providing immobility for soft tissue healing.
	14.	On the first restorative appointment, temporization is provided by using the patient’s existing prosthesis.
	15.	After making a full arch hydrocolloid impression and an occlusal registration, the relined existing prosthesis is inserted.
	16.	Prior to waxing the framework, the technician reduced the stone dies through plastic corrective copings.
	17.	On the second restorative visit, the corrective copings are placed on the abutments.
	18.	The abutments are reduced with a 1557 “Great White” carbide bur.
	19.	Metal framework on the stone model.
	20.	Metal framework is checked for internal adaptation.
	21.	Occlusal registration is taken on the framework.
	22.	On third restorative visit, the prosthesis is inserted onto the six Bicon non-shouldered abutments without cement.
	23.	Note the total lack of any attached soft tissue.
	24.	Seven-year post-operative radiograph reveals no loss of crestal bone around the implants.
	25.	Seven-year post-operative view of the soft tissues. Despite the fact that there was no attached tissue, there has never been any peri-implantitis nor bone loss.
	26.	Only one abutment collects any calculus.
	27.	Seven-year view of the prosthesis which has been removed and cleaned by a hygienist several times a year.
