Bicon Integrated Abutment Crown™: Extraction, Two Stage Placement and Restoration of Maxillary Left Central Incisor Implant with an Integrated Abutment Crown™
This case demonstrates the extraction of a maxillary left central incisor, two stage placement of a 4.5mm x 8.0mm implant, implant level transfer impression and the insertion of an Integrated Abutment Crown™.

     


1. Pre-operative site.


2. Pre-operative radiograph.


3. Periotome being used to initiate the extraction.

5. Curette removing soft tissue remnants of periodontal ligament.


6. Ten weeks post-extraction radiograph.


7. Radiograph of the 4.5mm x 8.0mm HA coated implant placed using two stage surgical technique ten weeks after the extraction.

23. Yellow thermoplastic custom seating jig, which was formed with a crown alignment device, in a crown seating tip attached to a straight handle facilitates directing the tapping forces in the long axis of the abutment post and implant well.
