Immediate Stabilization and Function / All-Ceramic Crowns: Two Immediately Placed and Stabilized Maxillary Bicuspid Implants
This case demonstrates the stabilization, transfer impression, and final restoration with all-ceramic crowns of two maxillary bicuspid immediately placed and stabilized implants.

1. Pre-operative radiograph.

2. Two 5.0mm x 2.0mm shouldered stealth abutments placed at time of implant surgery.

3. Radiograph revealing two 4.5mm x 8.0mm Bicon implants and two stealth shouldered abutments splinted together with a transitional acrylic prosthesis.

4. Transitional prosthesis bonded to adjacent teeth immediately after implant placement.

5. Two shouldered stealth abutments at patient's second visit.

6. An aluminum oxide sleeve being placed on a 5.0mm x 2.0mm shouldered stealth abutment.

7. Two aluminum oxide sleeves prior to their being withdrawn in a transfer impression.

8. Impression material being injected around aluminum oxide sleeves. A preferred way would be to use one-piece acrylic sleeves for making the transfer impression.

9. Transfer impression being made.

10. Two white 5.0mm stealth abutment transfer dies in stone model.

11. Two all-ceramic crowns on stealth abutment transfer dies.

12. Occlusal view of two 5.0mm stealth shouldered abutments which have been reduced occlusally.

13. Occlusal view of two all-ceramic crowns which were made by adding alpha porcelain directly onto a Bicon aluminum oxide sleeve.

14. Buccal view of two all-ceramic crowns.

15. One-year post insertion radiograph of two immediately placed and stabilized or loaded implants with all-ceramic crowns.
