Short Implants /Bicon Integrated Abutment Crowns™ /Immediate Stabilization and Function: Extraction, Two Stage Placement, Grafting with Bicon Resorbable Collagen Membrane and Restoration of Maxillary right lateral Incisor Implant with an Integrated Abutment Crown™
This case demonstrates the extraction and two stage immediate placement of a 4.5mm x 6.0mm HA coated maxillary right lateral incisor implant as well as its restoration with a Bicon Integrated Abutment Crown™.

     

First Visit:

   


1. Pre-operative radiograph.

7. Osteotomy being enlarged with a blue 3.5mm latch reamer rotating at 50RPM without water irrigation.


8. Osteotomy being enlarged with a red 4.0mm hand reamer on a straight driver.


9. Osteotomy being enlarged with a silver 4.5mm hand reamer on a straight driver.


10. A 4.5mm x 6.0mm HA coated implant being inserted into the osteotomy with an implant-seating tip threaded on a straight driver.


11. Implant seating tip attached to a straight handle being tapped to seat implant farther into the osteotomy.
