Extraction and Placement of Immediately Functioning Maxillary Left Second Bicuspid Implant with Integrated Abutment Crown™

This case demonstrates the surgical placement and restoration with a Bicon Integrated Abutment Crown™ of an immediately placed and functioning maxillary second bicuspid implant.

1. Extraction of the fractured teeth.
2. Clinician‘s finger monitoring the buccal bone during the preparation of the pilot osteotomy at 1,100RPMs.
3. Preparation of the osteotomy with a latch reamer at 50RPM.
4. A 4.5mm x 8.0mm HA coated Implant being inserted with a seating tip threaded on a straight driver.
5. Implant seating tip being removed from the implant.
6. Etchant being applied to adjacent tooth surfaces.
7. Bonding agent being applied to adjacent tooth surfaces.
8. Light curing of bonding agent.
9. Shoulder depth guage seated into the well of the implant to facilitate the selection of stealth abutment with an appropriate shoulder height.
10. Shouldered stealth abutment being inserted into well of implant.
11. White plastic stealth abutment being gently tapped into the implant well.
12. Tall acrylic sleeve being placed onto white plastic 5.0mm stealth shouldered abutment.
13. Plastic sleeve being trimmed.
14. Polyceramic material being applied to the acrylic sleeve.
15. Light curing of initial polyceramic material.
16. Polyceramic material being inserted into vacuum formed template.
17. Template being adapted to tooth.
18. Light curing of newly applied material.
19. Additional material being applied to a cervical void.
20. Light curing of newly applied material.
21. Transitional stabilizing prosthesis being contoured.
