All-Ceramic Crown: Extra-oral Cementation and Minimal Space
The aesthetic restoration of a congenitally missing lateral incisor with only 5.0mm of mesio-distal space is facilitated by the extra-oral cementation of an all-ceramic crown onto a 3.5mm Bicon stealth shouldered abutment.

1. Congenitally missing lateral incisor with only 5.0mm of mesio-distal space between the canine and central incisors.

2. Radiograph of implant and temporary abutment.

3. 3.5mm Bicon stealth shouldered abutment in place with probe demonstrating the minimal 5.0mm space.

4. Impression post, aluminum oxide sleeve, 3.5mm shouldered abutment, implant analog and assembled components.

5. Implant analog inserted onto impression post prior to pouring soft tissue model.

6. Soft tissue model with finished all-ceramic crown which was built directly on a Bicon aluminum oxide sleeve.

7. An all-ceramic crown built on an aluminum oxide sleeve and a 3.5mm Bicon stealth shouldered abutment, prior to their being extra-orally cemented.

8. Excellent aesthetics and healthy papillae were facilitated by the extra-oral cementation of the all-ceramic crown to the abutment prior to their being tapped into the implant well as a single unit.

9. Radiograph showing how a Bicon implant and abutment with the possibility for 360° of universal positioning can be compatible with both the hard and soft tissues — even where there is minimal space.
