During this comprehensive didactic and clinical observation program, participants will attend lectures and observe live implant placement surgeries and restorative techniques. Additional topics will include case selection, postoperative care and treatment of potential complications. The course is designed to help treatment plan a complication-free implant placement. Participants are invited to bring x-rays and models of their own clinical cases to discuss with the speakers during the course. There is also an opportunity to watch and assist as the instructor places implants on live patients. Combine the course with a weekend stay in the Eternal City!

The Lab Technicians Course will focus on the production of CAD/CAM metal-free TRINIA™ prostheses. The TRINIA™ structure can either be used with a hybrid ceramic (polyceramic) bonded indirectly to the bar, or with conventional denture teeth bonded to the bar. Because of Bicon’s 360˚ of abutment positioning, clinical chair time is significantly reduced for fixed prostheses when used with TRINIA™ because the substructure can be used as a seating jig for the abutments. Additional restorative options for Bicon implants are also presented, with a particular focus on the fabrication of the Integrated Abutment Crown™ (IAC). The Integrated Abutment Crown™ is a screw-free, cement-free and gap-free restoration. With the IAC, the practitioner receives an easy-to-use single unit abutment and crown from the technician, so there is no risk of excess cement residue.
