Temporary abutment is being removed for the insertion of an impression post which will record the position of the implant.
After micro sand blasting the prosthetic head of the permanent abutment with 50 microns of alumina, the abutment was cleaned with 95% ethyl alcohol in an ultrasonic bath for five minutes. After being thoroughly jet air dried, five consecutive layers of metal coupler is being applied prior to being placed in an oven at 250° F for five minutes without vacuum.
A single coat of the liquid and powder metal opaque mixture was applied to the treated abutment surface using a disposable tip before being placed in an oven under vacuum for five minutes at 250° F. Then, the abutment was bench cooled for one minute prior to the application of a thin coat of modeling liquid that was cured in a halogen light-curing booth for one minute.
The superstructure is built using the appropriate polyceramic material: opaque dentin, dentin enamel, incisal and intermittent stain characterizers, intensifiers, and modifiers.
Glaze mixture was applied onto the entire surface prior to being transferred undisturbed to an oven, under vacuum, at 250° F for five minutes.
