This video demonstrates the insertion of a fiber reinforced TRINIA four unit anterior bridge on two Bicon short implants. Our demonstration begins with the removal of two white healing abutments. Vaseline is applied to the bores of the TRINIA prosthesis and the two milled abutments are incompletely inserted into the prosthesis. After the abutments have been inserted into the well of the implants, a white healing abutment attached to a threaded straight handle is used to initially seat the abutments. The prosthesis is then removed and the abutments are fully seated using an abutment seating tip attached to a threaded straight handle. The prosthesis is placed back onto the fully seated abutments and the contacts are evaluated. The prosthesis is then removed and a metal primer is applied to the milled abutments. A silane solution is applied to the bores of the prosthesis and Vaseline is applied to the ridge side of the prosthesis to facilitate the removal of any extraneous cement. Minimal cement is applied to the bores prior to inserting the prosthesis in the mouth. The prosthesis is fully seated with a white healing plug attached to a threaded straight handle prior to having the patient apply occlusal pressure while the cement polymerizes. The extraneous cement is then simply blown away with an application of air under the prosthesis. Contacts are evaluated and if needed adjusted. This completes the demonstration for the insertion of a four unit TRINIA bridge on two Bicon SHORT implants. Thank you for having watched.
